I would like to know how this would work with terrestrial orchids ( Cyps.)??? I am trying to follow this but I'm not a chemist. :) I would like to try it but would need a small batch as I am down to under 50 plants in house, maybe split it with someone!!! I use rain water, my tap is very hard...

Windy today,, rain on the way, temps today around 50. The ground still has not frozen. This weekend the temps should be more seasonal.

We had warm temps too, low 60's for the high 50's at night, also had alot of rain off & on for 2 days. Its getting cooler today on though..

Yes , anything goes in NY. But the weather all over has been to extremes. Drought, to wet, Fires, hurricanes, tsunamies, ect. all over the world!!! Seemes to me that it is getting worse & worse. I was told years ago that NY will soon have the weather of Florida & vise versa!!

Well we had 2 hurricanes here Irene & Lee, 3 months ago. Than a snow storm a few weeks ago, now it is basically in the 50's & some rain.. About 10++ degrees warmer than usual.

I just went & dug up some good compost soil. Hopefully it has good fungus for the seed germination. I will spread the seeds in 4 pots & put them in my Cyp. garden, hopefully I will have some sprout in the spring!!!!!!!!! :)

Keep an eye on E-Bay!!! They or Divisions will show up eventually!!! I hope they catch them!! I hate seeing things like this!! I think it is in the Middle East Countries that if you are caught stealling they cut your arm off!!!!!!!!!!!!! (Don't know if they still do it though)!!!

I just received some Cyp. seed!! :) Thank You Dido!!!!!! I want to start them naturally. How does one make sure you get the right fungus for them to germinate???????

I for one have to be very careful how much I spend on plants, ect. I am always looking for the cheaper plant, but that does not mean it is the better plant to buy!!
