    Phrag caudatum fortuna

Would this be considered Phrag. popowii? I have one of these as well and I've been trying to figure out what it should actually be labeled

Don't judge a book by its cover!

Well, it appears the flowers are going to make it, I'm quite surprised as I wasnt gentle with the roots during the repot. Both parts of the plant look healthy and are free of rot. I also just wanted to mention the seller was very apologetic and offered to replace the plant if it didn't make it...

    Almost time! P. caudatum

Update! Both flowers are now open and the petals have begun their descent, currently the petals are 11.5" long. It will be interesting to see how long the petals get, as I moved the plant from my high humidity grow area into the living room to enjoy the flowers. The photo was pretty over...

    Orchid Inn Paph sanderianum Flask

They look great! All these sanderianum posts lately really make me want to get one, what a shame they're so darn expensive! Good luck!

    Almost time! P. caudatum

I picked this caudatum up a while back at a very reasonable price due to some pretty bad mite damage on the leaves but it managed to put out this spike for me which I'm very happy about! I'll update when the blooms open.

    Orchid inn flasks

I'll echo what everybody else has said, Sam has great stuff! I haven't personally ordered a flask from him (yet) but judging from the larger plants I've ordered, I'd expect high quality, healthy seedlings.

    Paph. wilhelminae

Beautiful! My wilhelminae has longer, narrower leaves than your plant which is interesting, but I recently got the plant and it may just be culture related.

    Phragmipedium richteri

Very pretty! How big is the actual plant?

Don't judge a book by its cover!

I guess what I'm saying is, repotting while a plant is in bloom probably shortens the longevity of the flower(s) compared to leaving the plant undisturbed to finish flowering. Though, obviously, if the plant is sick I'm sure that also has an effect. I rarely buy flowering plants, and have...

Don't judge a book by its cover!

If you really care about the flowers I would wait until a plant is done with flowering before I'd repot it, unless the medium is really bad or there is a disease present. I repotted one of my moms mottled leaf paphs while it was in flower due to root rot and the flower, which had only been open...

    Phragmipedium vittatum

Wow, very nice! I didn't know this species was so difficult to grow
