    Matieno's Condor 2010

I always like the twisty petals, coming down like streamers! Nice plant.

    S.Gratrix

Did anyone else get photos of their select plants from Nick? Someone had suggested asking him for photos, so I did. He had 2 of mine, I can post later if anyone is interested. And it looks like I have one early bud starting on a select fanaticum I kept too.

Nice!...I always like the pure white lip for contrast to the petals.

    Nick's final sale

SO, we have heard from a few here, what did everyone else get? I was looking at the parvi compots, but decided against bidding, still I might like to take a few seedlings off someones hands. Rose and I got the S Gratrix x Macabre cross to split, and I (Eric) got a group of Lucky Bells. Did...

    Nick's final sale

I don't look at the other forum, but I did wonder if they were bidding too....

    Paph Gloria Naugle

I think for that cross it is a great result, and the fact it bloomed on a small plant sounds unusual to me. If I am not mistaken, these kind of crosses are often difficult to bloom, and deformed flowers are not unusual. You took a great photo too!

Phrag. Fritz Schomburg vs Peruflora's Cirilia Alca

Robert, do you see this as further evidence that besseae and delasenroi are indeed two different species, since the progeny of the hybridization yeilded such different results? Or is the variation within each respective cross great enough that this only represents two extremes? Maybe we...

    Nishidemiyako gives birth

Ah, I went back and read what I missed. It was there all along. Duh! It also looks as if a new growth is starting to the left of the closeup picture.

    Nishidemiyako gives birth

Is it just the photo angle, or is the varigation pattern different? And if so, will it change to the mature pattern later, or is this a new pattern to watch?

    Nick's final sale

I feel the same way...now that the first batch is potted, I find myself thinking about something else too....lol.

    Nick Tanacci liquidation sale

In our group, we had about 8 or more that seemed to have clonal names attached to the select plants, and I did notice the yellow tags, but didn't pay that much attention to them as I was splitting them. I would be interested to know if that has special meaning. I don't know a good plant from a...

    Nick Tanacci liquidation sale

It was a busy weekend, splitting the plants up, labeling the bags, and getting them packed appropriately. The plants look fine, some of the out of compot seedlings are small as might be expected, but a few were also in the 2" to 4 " range too. The selection mirrored what Nick had posted on his...

Anyone growing in a closet? Garage?

I think Ernie was growing in his garage before he moved to Florida, he might have some posts or info on it.

    Nick Tanacci liquidation sale

We have 4 confirmed people (Rose, Ross, Dave, and myself) planning on getting roughly equal shares, but can still add one more if there is interest. Our plants are to be shipped to me by Nick Mon or Tues, and once they arrive I will split them up with input from the group. If there is still...
