    Paph fairrieanum

Yes, I know that is quite a drawback. Especially in the winter when it is still dark on my way to work and dark already on my way home... the only time there is left for photographing things is at the weekend, and you have to hope :poke: that there is some sun then...

    Paph tranlienianum

In the end, I couldn't resist... While looking around and ordering a couple of things from Popow, I added one of these to my order! I love its petals! And I'm sure I can fit it in somewhere.:rollhappy:

Thanks, Elena. ;) You get really wonderful results - I don't think you need to worry about artificial lighting!

    Paph fairrieanum

Really beautiful, Elena! You are right, it looks very clean and crisp - quite striking. You take really great photos as well - consistently all the time. Do you have a place set up with lighting, etc. to get these fantastic shots?

    Happy New Year!!

Well, at least some of us in the IT industry get holidays! There are still plenty of us 'mainframe' people left, Jean!

    Paph vietnamense

Very nice! I like the two-tone colouring, and it has a nice balanced shape - should be very nice when the plant matures more. Well done! It can't be that unhappy if its flowering for you again!

    Paphs and Phrags, so far...

Well, it looks like I won't be waiting until Spring... a good friend of mine surprised me with the following Christmas gift: :rollhappy: Cypripedium formosanum Cypripedium Gisela Cypripedium guttatum Pale Cypripedium Maria Cypripedium Siggi

    Lepanthanopsis astrophora

Eric, this one seems much easier than a Lepanthes. Some of those have struggled for me as well, whereas this one seems to be pretty resilient, much tougher, and not at all 'finicky' about water and medium. It likes lots of air around its roots - if kept too wet, the roots will suffocate and...

    Paphs and Phrags, so far...

Its 60mph limit most of the way!!! (used to be all 60 except for the little bit up to Marwell, until, that is, they decided that Main Road should be a 30!) I won't agree with too fast, but possibly too often!?! :rollhappy: I never meant to have so many Paphs!

    Phrag. Saint Peter

Really beautiful! I adore these colours... and I can't wait until mine blooms!
  18. shakkai

    Lepanthanopsis astrophora

That's me and my plant. They seem to be quite easy to grow and bloom - mine blooms several times a year. It would probably be nicer if it bloomed just once and had all of the flowers open at once, but hey, I'm not going to complain about any blooms I get! I started off with mine growing...

    Paphiopedilum Wossner Armenijack

Nice soft colour! What is the size of the bloom?

    Paphiopedilum Wössner Mini Goldi

Yes, and it may be that the flower form will improve, as this was a first time bloom seedling, from what I understand. But, I'm really hoping that the colours stay as they are - I love the spots from suk!! And having that on such a small flower/plant is super!
