My Favorite Present

I received this for Christmas. I've only started it, since we celebrated Christmas late this year. It's been really busy, but I'm looking forward to soaking up this book every night to unwind. I have several Orchid books that I love to go through, but this is the first one I've gotten that's specifically on slippers.

My orchid related presents from my daughter were Miniature Orchids by Frowine and Haraella odorata mounted on cork.

I've wanted it for some time, but when I got any extra money, it was mysteriously going on orchids, instead! My husband had no clue on what orchids to buy, so I dropped a few hints on some books I would like. I'm REALLY glad he chose this one!

I need a copy also, but after I get Pridgeon's encyclopedia.
Those 2 books, plus 'Orchid Fever' and the Dunsterville's book should be mandatory for orchid/slipper growers!

I'm laughing now, guess what Santa put under the tree for me? The very same book. I've been reading it ever since. Just what I was looking for to get a deeper understanding of paphs. I haven't made it to the phrags yet. Great minds think alike.

Ya gotta look out for yourself, eh? :rollhappy: I'm enjoying this book so much! I'm about a third of the way through. (I've been really busy!) It's a fantastic book, and I recommend it highly!
