    Ecuagenera Phragmipedium video

Stone, there is no var fortuna to my knowledge not even fma fortuna described in popowii (the old humboldtii). It could be a clonal name and my guess is that it could be a selfing of that "fortuna" clone.

    Psygmorchis crista-galli in vitro

Naoki they are very hard to grow outside but in vitro they grow very fast and quite easily. They need to be replated only 1 time / year. I use for this species P668 @1/2 with 60gr/l of banana puree.

Thanks a lot! It flowers two times /year and keeps blooming for 2 to 3 months. It took about 1.5 years to reach blooming size and it is 3 years old.

    M.M.T.F and LV

Thanks for your coments! I grow all my phrags in a open mix of coarse perlite + some spagnum moss. On top I usually put some sphagnum that helps to increase the RH a little bit. I water them every day if I can with very diluted fertilizer. For kovachii and hybrids I add some carbonate stones...

    M.M.T.F and LV

Two "brothers". They are almost identical, the only diference is a 12.5% of schlimii in the MMTF. They are two of the nicest kovachii hybrids. Memoria Maria Teresa Figuetti (Elizabeth Castle x kovachii): LaVingtaine 3N (Memoria Dick Clements 4N x kovachii): both: I am going to...

    Advice needed kovachii seed sowing

Tom, I grow them side by side with the other Phrag. seedlings. The substrate is perlite mixed with sphagnum. In some of the pots I put some calcareous fragments of 0.5 to 1 cm but I do not see better results. I think that the key factor is the temperature: Here I do have nights of about 12C to...
