Excellent! I now know that my Phrag caudatum v fortuna is actually humboldtii v fortuna! I almost crossed it with a big caudatum to make yet another confusing hybrid!
 
Stone, there is no var fortuna to my knowledge not even fma fortuna described in popowii (the old humboldtii). It could be a clonal name and my guess is that it could be a selfing of that "fortuna" clone.
 
Nice video, very interesting. The big problem with Ecuagenera is the general state of the plants when they get to the European market. They are sold bare roots packed in sphagnum and news paper and have sometimes travelled more than one month from one exhibition to an other exhibition.
