‘Guess the hybrid’ Game

Let’s make this fun....

Three guesses for this primary hybrid. I will answer after the 10th person. Some elucidation of your deduction will make this interesting (ie why do you think it’s that particular species used). Winner gets the adoration of the crowd and I will donate to ST a nominal fee. Those who know due to convos with me, please recuse yourselves. Clue: plant the size of leucochilum.

The canhii part of the hybrid was the easier one, and I'm not sure, that my own first thought would have been in the direction of fairrieanum, if Per and Dodi hadn't pointed that way.
I tend to think, they might be right, though the genes of the canhii seem to suppress some of the traits, I especially connect with fairries: the all-over shape of the dorsal and the upward swipe of the petals.
On the other hand, all the following points in the direction of fairrieanum: the shape of the pouch, the ondulation and stripes of the petals, the reticulation of the staminodal shield, some influx of colour, and the hairy warts on as well the upper as the lower parts of the petals (the last feature actually led my thoughts in the direction of the barbatum/callosum complex for a short while - as the colour and mottling of the leaves, but no other feature, in the passing reminded me of P. dodeyanum).

PS. It's actually a very nice flower - even, or maybe especially, as we are in the dark land of cross-sectional hybridization!

I would have to agree with the consensus of canhii x fairrieanum. You can also tell from the leaves, canhii patterning with more of a fairrieanum shape.

Alright, you all are probably right, but I would kind of expect more undulation in the dorsal sepal from fairrieanum and that staminode is really something. So to be a contrarian (and get us to 10), Ill go with canhii x javanicum f. virens.
