Thanks everyone
Thanks Lance. The first one, The petals go forward. Must be a hybrid. The second one has reflexed a bit more. I went to a orchid show this Sunday and saw a few Paph venustums and the only thing that looked different was the deeper color and the pouch color on this one.
Thanks again
Mick
Hi ohio guy. The leaves do have the same pattern on the top. The first one is just a bit lighter and not as deep as the second one.Do the leaves of the first one look like straight venustum leaves?
The pattern is supposed to be pretty unique as I recall. How does it compare to your confirmed venustum?
Second one is NICE. First one... urbanianum x venustum?

Thanks Ernie and Rick for your suggestions. Maybe I will be able to tell better the next time it blooms. Then again maybe not.Is it possible the first is a bad blooming of this??

McPaph,
This species has several variations, slight to marked, but they all have greatly reflexed petal tips.
The flowers pictured appear to me to be hybrids and/or they were not allowed to fully expand.
