There is the real thing! As I am sure you have gathered it was in a picture of the one parent and a description of the other. I am not even sure at this point if the second parent did exist or if it was a selfing of a plant from an adjusted/touched up picture. I paid a princely sum for the seedling (actually two, the other never made it to this stage), and now I am wondering if I was ripped off?
At least I have a flowering stonei, not the best one, but mot too bad either, fairly representative of the species and good size if nothing else. I have a couple others in sheath, lets see what they are like (old originals)
