There your EA is sitting on a table in a bucket with scary
faces looking down on it and it BLOOMS...aaacccckkkk!
Mine has three times more growths, looks quite healthy
and won't bloom. I must be doing something wrong but
I don't know what. It puts out new growth like a champion. Your flower is sooo beautiful and I want one
just like it. Perhaps the scary faces help???!!

Lol Abax ...probably is the humidity? mine just grows in the living room in a bucket! Lima is really mid weather...never to hot never to cold humidity from 50 to 98% depending the season

Peru, the humidity in my greenhouse is about 99% most of
the time, lots of air movement, potted in clay pot with
Orchiata and temps. range from low 60sF to high of 75F-
80F. I think the scary faces had something to do with
your blooming! Perhaps there's some magic in your
living room. Magic is the only element I've not tried.
Incantations needed...;>)

Yesterday was 11cm wide..but now petals have folded and its 10cm.Still looking good! I might cross next spike with a friends besseae that is blooming now
