Two pretty inspiring plants:

Roth, grown by a famous local grower in the highlands.. I believe this plant is from wild stock, not any selected cross:

Another growth is spiking.

From the same grower, parishii. Plant with 2 fans, 1 flowered, 1 in bloom. One spike holding 11 flowers (9 open, 2 buds).

I don't have flower dimensions. Our local shows are mainly ribbon judging, not point judging...

Very nice flowers, thanks for showing. Smart idea to show lady slippers in front of a shoe shop.

Wow, I count 10 flowers on that parishii, a two growth plant! fine example. The roth with his little buddy is really cool too. It looks like a less tailored OZ plant.

Is the show in KL? Which mall? I wanna go see ; )

The wild roth is great!!

Its over already. Only for a week. Show was in Taiping, Northern Perak state. We usually have several large floral festivals every year, Floria Putrajaya and also MAHA. The owner of these 2 plants usually participates..

Very special roth. People tend to only know the progenies of MM, Rex, Val etc. and forget the other interesting examples of this species. These roths with mahogany stripes on yellow ground are pretty rare.

I think roths of this coloration are pretty typical of wild-collected plants. I have yet to see any wild-collected roth that has a white background..
