C leopoldii X schilleriana. Originated from SVO. I bought this last year on eBay with 3 flowers (just after I told myself "dont buy any more cattleyas!"). I was drawn to the colour. Five flowers this time. Even better colour, The lip is almost iridescent. The Petals a deep, shiny, mahogany with subtle spots. Hopefully big clusters of flowers as it grows up.
