Dr. Leslie Ee:
I tried to PM you, but couldn’t. After seeing your incredible example of this plant last year, I searched and found one at Orchids Ltd. This is my first bloom, with 3 other spikes developing. I’m pleased with the intensity of color. My question: flowers seem small. Were yours on the small size? I just remember an incredible display on your plant. Here are my photos:

Yes flowers are not big. May get slightly bigger on stronger plants.

Thanks, David. Color and splash are nice! I’m a sucker for splash. Forgot to mention, this (according to Jerry Fischer) is a division of the original plant. He knows who he got it from several years ago. I have the record, but can’t remember who it was.
