I got this Catt. maxima in 1997, and it is a regular bloomer now, this year 2 spikes (1 x 4 , 1 x 5 in bud)! I like these large flowers a lot, interesting to observe the color changing from very pale while opening, to a more solid lilac: the pict. 4 shows the older flowers of the first spike in the upper and the new ones in the lower part of the photo.

The last pict. is showing a first bloom of a Catt. maxima alba, I have since 2004!
