Tag says percivaliana alba.I think it is mossiae. Any thoughts?Thanks.

I suppose that i mixed tags during repotting.I did not buy hybrid plant but bought mossiae alba.Now some of my mossiaes in bud and lip reminds me to mossiae.

Beautiful, mossiae is my favorite species I love the typical forms.

It could be but this bloom doesn’t have the typical ‘falling forward’ presentation of mossiae petals,

It’s a little early for mossiaes and crosses over with trianae period.

Is it only one flower? Any updated photo? Looks just opening.

You should be able to tell straight away from the smell. Percivaliana is a bit spicy and not very floral. Mossiae is much more floral. Percivalliana also is a pretty orangy yellow vs. lighter yellow for mossiae. A bit out of bloom season for either.

I like it, the alba form of this species is still on my wish list. Must be very fragrant!
