Ha, ha, no way! I tried growing C. cernua a couple years outside and it was severely damaged after the first winter, and dead after the 2nd. The climate here is peculiar, having a mixture of both temperate and subtropical elements, such that it is a real challenge to grow cool temperate plants such as Cypripediums, and at the same time just as difficult to grow frost sensitive subtropicals like Paphiopedilums. I've learned the hard way to bring in all cold sensitive stuff, or suffer the consequences.Do you keep this outside year round?
Tom, your plant may be a small one ..... but her flowers are great. So no need to be emberassed but proud !Compared to the beauties shown by many of you recently, it is with a tinge of embarrassment that I show my little plant in flower now. Lovely thing IMO.
