Cattleya walkeriana pelorica ‘Cat’s Eye’

I finally bloomed a walkeriana (first time ever) …. using Fred Allen’s clay pellets in shallow clay pot method (Thanks Fred!).

It’s the peloric version with petals that resemble the lip. The pattern is so hypnotic.

Only one flower as plant is still establishing and need to get stronger. Still taking it as a win yayyyy.

Yes … some true pelorics just don’t flatten like the lip.

It’s the same Leca pellets lol.
