Heck ya it rains a lot here south of Houston. BUT mid-summer normally the rain passes us over for weeks at a time. That's way I store! My 450gal livestock tank sprung a leak:mad: as a fact several! The old tank was on a three table made of 2X6's and 4X4's concreted in. It started to lean under its own weight after 7 years. I started to jack it back up to level when the PVC pipe snapped!! Holly crap! the wife stood there like the dutch boy with her finger in the dike while I ran around looking for a plug!:rollhappy: I got it plugged but when I tried to backout the broken PVC with a hammer and chisel, damn ole rust spots a round the base started springing leaks everwhere! I was soaken wet by the time all 450 gals came out it!:rollhappy:
End of story and 430 bucks less in my pocket I have a NEW TANK YAYA:D!!
This one holds 550gal and I filled it in one day.

Wow, 2000l + !!!! Is it just for your gh, or ?? Jean

(I killed the plastic inside of my 400 l tank last winter because I was not quick enough to get the water out )

is your wife related to the little dutch boy?! :p same thing happens here in mid summer, clouds everywhere and just as one thinks about raining on us they all hightail it to the nearest mountain range :D.
