No -- it is Grow Stones, available at your local hydroponics store (I think it's used a lot by marijuana growers). I've been experimenting with it a lot, mostly as an amendment instead of perlite, but sometimes alone.

Thanks for the info Dot. Have you tried Grow Stones alone with any Phrag's? They seem like a logical choice.
