You have made me fall in love with these. I have one at the moment and am waiting to see if I can successfully overwinter it and bring it back out of dormancy (assuming I can get it to go dormant!) before buying more.
 
One more flower compared to last year, and another spike seemingly on the way. Was to be in prime condition for judging today, but for some reason, all of the flowers developed a dark line on the edges of their lips and one flower decided to fade early. Regardless, it received an 83-point Award of Merit today at the Denver judging center. The fragrance is sweet, fruity, and powerful.

It's my favorite Cycnoches species also! Large, beautiful, very pleasantly fragrant and easy.
I have bought at least one or two every time I saw it offered on SVO catalogue in the past few years. Only one ever bloomed out chunky like yours. Others were more stary shaped. I like it chunky! So cute :)
