I collect latouria dendrobiums and I have not seen this hybrid. It looks great. I will have to look for it. Hopefully it brought down the size of den spectabile a little bit. The flowers definitely show both of there parents. I like it.

Don't hold your breathe, the canes on both plants of this cross are over 16 inches long and haven't had the winter warmth they would in the parents natural environ'. Thus, the growths haven't grown to their best during this time. With my new heating system we'll see what happens.

Beautiful! I have a Den specabile x Den. Andree Millar that I've yet to bloom. Should be similar to this one. Maybe someday.
