Seems an odd time of the year for a nobile dendrobium to bloom but I won't complain! This is a first time bloomer so maybe its a little messed up.

It's not the norm, but yet not unusual to have nobile dendrobiums bloom in the summer as well as in the winter. I have one of mine currently in bloom. That is the second one that bloomed for me this summer. That is two out of maybe 10. This type of dendrobiums aren't that hard to get to rebloom if you follow their rules. You should have stooped fertilizing them now until they bloom in the winter. Also they'll need that 30 day of at least a couple of hours of tempts around 55 F. or lower. Then again, you probable know all that. Nice looking bloom you have there.

Nice, Tom!

Some of these nobile dendrobiums can flower a couple times a year. Looks like you might have one of those.
