This is the only one Dracula remaining in my collection. This plant is thriving under my conditions (too hot for other Draculas)... I love this plant!

I am at about 950m. Min temp is about 67F and max temp is 88F.
The plant is placed under a Mango tree (full shade) in a small basket. The substrate is pure sphagnum moss and receives water every second day.
I´ve been unable to cultivate Draculas here... only this one.

I am happy with my max temp...but I'd love to have min temp of about 55-60 F

Do you have a consistent 67 min temp year round? Or do you ever have warmer min temps in the summer for several months? I would really like to try one of these but my summer min temps(prob. May-Sept.) are about 75, and my highs are the same as yours. Of course the other months the greenhouse gets much cooler and will go down to 55 degrees as a minimum low.

The min and max temp is about the same all year round. We have here only two seasons (wet and "dry"): wet season (spring and summer in the N hemisphere) and dry season: (mainly winter of the N hemisphere). The main difference between the two seasons is not temperature but the rain.
I am not sure if this particiular species would survive under your conditions.

Eron, if you want to try a Dracula, go for D. lotax. It's very warmth tolerant and should do fine in our conditions.
