This is one of the cockle-shells. I think it has a different genus name now, but that's what's on the tag.

I didn't think garciana has that much coloration in it. Now I need to go off and google it to find out. Very nice, by the way!

I've had it about a year. it was planted in sphagnum in a plastic basket when I bought it, and that's what it's still in. This summer, I'll probably put it on a mount -- I don't really like to grow in sphagnum for very long. The plant is pretty small for a cockle-shell, at least the one's I'm more familiar with. I grow it bright and intermediate temps, watering it 2x per week.
