Escaping Mexipedium

Hi
I’m having problems keeping the runners inside the clay 14” alpine pots. They hit the pot wall a run vertically up and out!
Any tips please ?

they do what they want - bigger pot

All you can do is keep putting them in bigger trays and grow them in brighter light to shorten the internodes.

Or just kill them, like I do...

I just drill holes in the plastic pots and use grocery bag ties to keep the stolon in the pot but more often it breaks!

Thanks that’s useful my fluorescent tubes do need change!
And plan B was bigger trays….
