Pretty darn awesome. I love the burgundy sheen on the petals, but I just have to ask, are you balancing the plant on your fingertip?

Big flowers on a small plant!
I like that! Man, you're giving me ideas. lol

I love that comment, Juliana! hahaha

Yes! Very lovely. I want more multis, but I need small ones. Adding this one ot the list.

Before you all get your hopes up, this is an outlier. Most Shin-Yi Pearl are typical multifloral paph size.

That is really nice. Great size flower especially for the size of the plant.

It will be interesting to see if this plant remains compact. Given the breeding you would expect this to be a larger plant. So I wouldn't buy another plant from this cross and expect it to be so small.

Bought it in bloom from Parkside before they closed. This is the second bloom and the leafspan hasn't gotten any bigger. The trade off, as you can see, is that such a plant can't produce a decent flower count until it's specimen-size.

Enlighten a new pahp. grower - what did you mean mini-multi. Do the multi-bloom paphs normally have to get to a much larger size to bloom? Also, what are you growing it in? It looks like semi-hydro pot with the hole in the side, but you can't really see what the media is.

Nice looking bloom.

Nice looking bloom.

Thanks. Essentially, you assumed correctly. A "normal" size for a multifloral paph with heavy sanderianum influence would be 24 to 30in LS, especially with rothschildianum in the background.

It's not growing in semi-hydro; those are just extra drainage holes.
