Btw, a specialist of Stanhopeae doubts on the the label so it may not be histrionica after all. I am of no use when determinating Gongora… I'll update on this.

It's lovely and my imagination runs rampant when I look at the bloom.
The shape reminds me of the dragonish critters in the movie Avatar.
