Thought I'd say hi to everyone and tell a bit about myself. I started as attempting to grow orchids in 1976. Yes, I'm no youngster.... I was ten then. It wasn't until 1981 that they started surviving for me. I am a hobbiest up with small collection of approximately 130 orchids. They are mostly Cattleyas, Vandas and their relatives with a few odds and ends of other types tossed in the mix. I stayed clear of Phrags up until a few weeks ago then I had enough and took the plunge. I now have four. I had been trying to join this forum for over a year. Finally I got Heather involved and she hooked me up. I know I will learn quite a bit here and hope to be of some help to others eventually.
