ImageShack & Photobucket troubles

OK so I'm trying to post photos of my auction offerings but I'm having problems with both Photobucket and ImageShack.
Photobucket when I copy the IMG I get this skinny little yellow band at the bottom and apparently that's not enough because when I click paste nothing shows up.
ImageShack - what the heck is this API Key? I have requested one, where does one enter it?
Boy this week just gets better & better!

New Photobucket is lots of fun, no?
It takes longer time to upload into copy and longer time to download into paste now. Try again with patience.

Ditch the two and use imgur. Or Flickr.

I couldn't get photo bucket to work like it used to for me either. I couldn't get any of the code to work. I ended up just copying the picture and pasting it, and that worked.

Photobucket has become more cumbersome to use. What is at issue is advertising - by forcing you to spend more time on their site it increases the chance you will click on an advertisement - the real purpose of the site of course.

I'm using Firfefox but that doesn't seem to be the problem.

The site was updated a while back and now when you want to upload, you only need to drag the picture into the upload area. It's very fast. But you must remember to chose a a folder first or it will put the file in the default folder, and then you'll have to move it to the folder of your choice.

I used photo bucket today with success. Chose the "direct link" option after I uploaded and then surrounded the link here with the

image tags. No spaces between the brackets and the link.
