This is a Peruvian species. If anyone can help with ID, I would appreciate it. For perspective, it is in a 2" pot.

Thanks Dot I thought of Lynn but will wait until after a friend checks Icones XIV for me. I just gave him the measurements

"Overall flower height 12mm, width 8mm. Lateral sepals fused for their full length forming the cupping. The sepals are translucent which can't be seen well in the pic. Leaf length 5 cm x 2 cm. spike length 4 cm to first flower"
