Very nice malipo! Wish I had one....How long did it take from sheath to full bloom??? ( mine developed very slow, after 6 very long months bud suddenly blasted and dropped to the floor)

How long did it take from spiking to open flower?
I heard malipoense may take several months as they spike in the fall in nature and then slowly develop to finally open in the spring.

And how do you keep your malipoense during the winter?

I have a tiny little seedling that probably has many years to go before it ever flowers for me, but I'm afraid my condition is a bit too warm in the winter as I grow everything indoor.

I'm happy with the leaves as well, although flowers are always welcome.
