Masdevallia burfordiense

Was given this one today for free. It was very generous of the person, an early Xmas present maybe.........;-)

Anyway it has very thick leaves and the plant feels quite heavy for its size.

Two flowers and two buds, there was a 3rd flower but I removed it as it was on the way out anyway.

Looks great! Is this one a cool grower? I'm always on the lookout for Masdies that can handle my temperatures

Would ideally grow cool I would think but does also take a bit of heat.

It's very healthy and grows outside all year round through cool winters and some very warm summer days so far with high humidity according to the previous owner.
