Milo

Milo (insigne x Oenanthum (Harrisianum x insigne)) is Capablanca's parent.
According to Gardener's Chronicle of 1894, it was first presented by Veitch as insigne 'Chantinii' x Oenanthum 'Superbum' and seen as "an improvement on Cypripedium Nitens".
Btw I wonder why 'Superbum' has been used so many times as cultivar name.

Considering the previous owner I guess this plant is very old.
