Well looks like you saved it & it rewarded you with a bloom (& more to come).Phrag Summer Sun, had a little problem with rust (mites), I think.
Room Temps in our apartment, generally warm, which is why I added a fan.Love the isochilus! Such a pretty plant, i’d consider the cute pink blooms just a plus. will it grow with warm/hot temps?
Don't know what you did to it...it is an easy plant to grow...like a weed. I grew them in a clay pot with Pro-Mix(a pea base potting soil with some perlites), moist or slightly dry...for sure not soggy.I thought I could stop rotting Jewel orchids by growing them in inorganic media. Nope. Any advice would be welcome.
Are they staying too cool? I've heard they like to be warm. Maybe wet x cool gets them.I thought I could stop rotting Jewel orchids by growing them in inorganic media. Nope. Any advice would be welcome.
I used to grow Mocodes and Ludisia into huge masses. Now I can't keep them from rotting. IDK what's going wrong.Don't know what you did to it...it is an easy plant to grow...like a weed. It holds water well. And I haven’t been able to overwater, and forgetting to water for a few days hasn’t seemed to matter.
Of course ymmv.
