The Phragmipedium humboltii got AM and Best of Show. The tree display got a gold medal from AOS. The last pic showed the line up all day to get into show! Busy!
This Aeranthes got Best Species.

No…. Unfortunately I will be at the dowiana show in Costa Rica.
Costa Rica or Vancouver, hhhmmm such a hard decision. My thoughts are go south young man!
Hehe no, just the peak blooming season for dowianas in CR at that time.

Beautiful pictures, thank you for sharing. I went to the SOOS show in Toronto for the first time in over ten years and was barely able to see two of the displays. I just saw a lot of cell phones and sadly people taking tags out of display pots ... it will be a lot longer than ten years before I go back. I remember the old days, speaking to vendors, listening to them share pearls of wisdom with people attending the show, ... being able to breath ... the good old days.
