My Polyanthas in 2025

Short after the beginning of the new year 2025 my P. rothschildianum opened his flower. I don't know why the strong plant produced only one single flower ... ?
But as a recompension the flower was quiet large .. 28,5 cm (11,2") from petaltip to petaltip. I know, the stance of the petals could be better in the eyes of judges ... but I enjoy the flower even with this fault.

Paph. haynaldianum made it a lot better ... four of five flowers are already open only one is still in bud.

Both are very nice. I really like the old school look of the roth.

Assuming the roth has good roots, it may be that a cold snap triggered flowering prematurely.

May be only one flower but it’s a good looking one. Guess haynaldianum made up for the deficit.
