I bought the first one as a wild collected on four years ago. The plant was single growth with two roots, DS 4.7 at that time.

Carter & Holmes out of North Carolina here in the states had a roth 'Janet'. At one time they offered a F2 cross of roth, (something) X 'Janet' and boasted offspring were quick to bloom on small plants. Maybe this is the same 'Janet'

It's difficult to believe the first is truely a jungle plant!

Janet garnered an FCC/AOS back in 1969. There are better flowers around today, but it may be a useful breeder. I found just one pic in the internet where it had average shape but dark colour. Maybe it's the colour that Janet contributes to this cross.
