This is the classic green flowered variety of the species.
It has a large flower for the species.
Same nice fragrance from late afternoon into the night.

Much bigger?
In terms of the number of growths, no, it's about the same. It just have a few more leaves and a couple of new shoots at their base.
Otherwise it grows well and blooms the best. My other neos readily produce new growths and bloom about once or twice a year.

Wow. Never seen so many flowers on one Hsui inflorescence! Seems you’ve lucked into a free-blooming specimen of the variety. I’m curious if it’s from the Okheon?
These are seed propagated, so there are bound to be some variations but Hisui is one of those that bear lots of flowers.
In the above photo from this year, I had about 5-7 flowers per spike and this is considered poor performance.
In good years, I had easily 10-12 flowers per spike.
Roughly speaking, all the large Neos like Hisui, Manjushage, Taiga...easily produce over 10 flowers per spike. Plus, the individual flower size is larger than typical of the species as well.
This plant is an original division from elsewhere. There are some well known varieties that are seedlings from Hisui. One particular variety has very dark green flowers but you can never find them for sale. I have tried to self my plant a couple of times but it only produces empty pods. I keep trying, though! ;)

On the free blooming tendency, I believe it has a lot to do with the fact that my plants are not getting distinct seasons as they would experience in the wild or proper growing conditions.
When given the proper winter, these will typically bloom once around early summer, or they can bloom again once more in late summer into early fall.
I grow mine indoors year around without huge variations. Of the varieties I have tried, only this Hisui plant blooms randomly throughout the year, most during spring into summers, though.
Other varieties I had still bloomed only once or twice a year.
The major changes in blooming when given proper winter is that they will bloom in one big display. Without proper winter, they tend to throw multiple smaller shows over the course of a few months.

Wow, never seen dark green flowers on one…photo please? And I surely hope you succeed! I have a regular seed-grown Hsui. I like it but I only blooms every other year.

Just imagine noticeably darker or more vivid green flowers. The photo is in the Neo book and I can't share it. Sorry.
For some, the difference might not be very much because these neo "nuts" are into fine details to put it simply. 😄

Yeah, I will keep selfing my Hisui and see if I can ever get viable seeds. Thank you.
