What’s a rough breakdown on those flasks? Are they all multis?

Not to reopen closed wounds but are you sure your flasker isn’t replacing any of your roths with generic Taiwanese crosses he has in his closet? It’s very easy to do accidentally

Lots of multis, a few parvi crosses but most of those did not germinate well, about a dozen Brassia, and a handful of Zygo types and oddball species.

Nice. Also appreciate that you’re doing brassia’s. They are so cool and nobody seems to be doing anything with them

That's exactly why I did it, they were my first orchid love and they've mostly disappeared over the years.

Paph Randy Booth opening out in my overflow house. The spike is a bit short and it doesn't seem to want to fully open, but randsii crosses are rare enough that I'll hang on to it and see if it improves. My overflow house is a bit cooler and darker than my main so I think it can do better once I rework my greenhouses.

This is a Wössner Black Wings from Krull-Smith, sibling to 'Powderpuff' AM/AOS. This blooming is a bit crowded but I think on a more mature plant this will be another winner. This particular grex has produced exceptionally flat flowers and I look forward to breeding with them.

Paph glaucophyllum, first bloom grown from flask:


Lc. Candy Corn. This one didn't get the cool flares but I love the cheery orange flowers.



Dendrobium tetragonum blooms nearly year-round and has a nice flush of new flowers now.

I have another in bud, and a handful of smaller seedlings that got burned during Helene and may need a year or two to catch up.

A first bloomer out of 'Ron' x 'High Color'. This one did not live up to its heritage, freshly opened and looks like a fading month old flower lol

I have another oddball from that cross, I've bloomed this one multiple times and the first flower on each inflorescence consistently has had a split synsepal. Only the first flower, the rest are always normal.

That color is unusual but cool. It seems the pictures of this cross are usually not bright colors like this

Cattleya trianaei concolor 'JP'

This one was shipped in bud and I don't think it's going to open fully, but I look forward to seeing it bloom better after it is established.
