Paph Arctic Storm x Paph White Castle

From Marriott Orchids last weekend.

Paph Arctic Storm 'Phantasm' x Paph White Castle 'Galaxy' is Hadley's cross HC2774. This is also in a 2-1/2" square pot and has 2 growths. The flower has a 10 cm ns, white w/ rose speckles, cream pouch. Can not find that this cross has been registered.

This was my wife's first visit to any orchid greenhouse and she kept picking out Hadley's 'select' plants -- not for sale or big dollars. She has a habit of doing that - picking the most expensive anything. Seems Hadley has the same affliction so they got along fine and joked about it.

That is just beautiful. I love the delicate cream of the pouch against the white in the rest of the flower.

Your wife and I should go Paph. shopping together. I always go straight
to the expensive, not-for-sale plants. This Paph. may not be perfect, but
it's lovely and I'd be proud to have it in my greenhouse.
