Average size, but I like the pink coloring on pouch and pink brushing on the dorsal. Charles, this plant is from the same cross that I sent you in compot last winter.

very nice! my plant is still alive, i'm sure that our club members will be very happy if their plants flower like this. by the way, anyone who has an opportunity to buy any of Ross's crosses, should try some! :D the seedlings he sent were very healthy

It's not a barbigerum I think, but a rare form of coccineum. I have seen plants like that two years ago in Moc Chau, very few in a private collection not for sale, and the owner told me they found only a few like that each year. The leaves are slightly 'rough' compared to the more smooth leaves of coccineum and barbigerum, and they are a bit on the bleached side.

Very beautiful thing...

I do like this one Ross. One I wouldn't mind having. If it would breed true, it could make some nice tiny pinks.

Any suggestions on where to go with this one? I may self it, but not on this blooming. This color has come through occasionally on other crosses that used the same parent, which is unfortunately dead, now. Another forum member has a normal colored barbigerum from the AQ cross that has beautiful pink/maroon brushing in the dorsal, and I have bloomed a Paph Barb Hella, made with the same parent that also has pink brushing in the dorsal. So far, this is the only progeny with a pink pouch.
