In bloom, again with the stem still crooked, but better than last blooming.

crooked stem is very characteristic of "viniferum" or whatever you want to call them - clearly in the parentage of this one...very nice color
 
Dang, who cares about the stem with such an awesome red flower. Huge petal elements too.

Striking patterning on the foliage.

Gorgeous flower...but I don't see "viniferum" in it...I think this one gets its dark color from "Sparkling Burgundy". I may be wrong, but I believe that "viniferum" or callosum "Jac" gives warty petals, and a dorsal that isn't solidly purple.

that's right......both showed up around the same time, but they breed very differently.
