Nature's beauty as odd as it can be.

No, in trade. The society's photographer displayed it in a show 2 years back. I hit him up for a division. Its a standard or large variety

I like the colours a lot, and I like that wave in the dorsal. For me it is just typical for the species.

reminds me of a relatively famous Robert Maplethorp photo. Truly lovely. The normal form of Paph callosum is a really lovely species. If it was rare, it would command top dollar prices. It suffers from being viewed as "common". Nothing at all common about the quiet beauty of its flowers.

Thank you all. Leo, Its seems these standard callosums are becoming hard to find these days. I have not come across many for sell, although Sam might have some. Anyways, I can remember back in the 90's callosums were everywhere. Big, flat dorsaled line breed studs adored every issue of the AQ in those days.
I bought two sisters, both bloomed out award quality, one did get a HCC before I stupidly divide both and quicky killed them. So upsetting.

Common or not, a good callosum has one of the nicest sepals of the whole Genus IMO. That toupee make them special.

I find this one specially nice, and it has even beautiful leaves (usually the worst part of this species).

Congrats. ;)
