(curtisii x philippinense) I love the name, but it's the flower that attracted me to it.

named after H.T. Clinkaberry (his wife, actually), head grower for Charles G. Roebling, whose company built the Brooklyn Bridge, and whose collection of orchids was considered the finest in the US at the time of his death in 1918. Lc. C.G. Roebling, a fine wcl coerulea, bears the name...

A little bit surprising at the first approach(it's me), but I do agree it is very nice. What are the flowers size?

Amazing color! I agree with Jean, the plant looks compact. How big is it?

I'll have to do some measuring tomorrow.
Nice flower. Do you know if this is a division or a seedling?
I thought it was a seedling, but I'll check it more closely tomorrow to see if I can tell for sure. I don't remember seeing that it has bloomed before, but I'll look again.

That is sweet Dot! It must be bread from newer bread parents. Much better then most of the older clones of this cross.

@Ross: It's blooming on the only mature growth and there is no evidence of any older growths. There are two young growths, also, one on either side of the mature one. So I'd say it's a seedling.

@wjs2nd & Brabantia: The flower is 5" (12.7 cm) from tip of dorsal to tips of petals. The NS is 4" (10.16 cm). The longest leaf is 6" (15.24cm) and the widest one is 1" (2.54 cm).
