6 weeks sounds good.
That's about how long mine lasted last winter.
It has been slowly growing a new fan.

I have read that 4 weeks is about average for the flower life span of delenatii.

No, I haven't divided it. It hasn't multiplied to a huge extent. It might have 5 or 6 growths.

I have even heard people say that delenatii flowers can start deteriorating after two weeks. My plant seems to do a lot better than that.

I see. While it may not become a big plant, it still is a long living beautiful (both plant and flowers) one, and more than one flower at a time.

2 weeks in bloom will be so disappointing. Well, still, I grow Ho Chi Minh. hahaha

Nice David. This must have the variety 'dunkel'/'vinicolor' as one of the parents. I say this because of the leaf pattern.
