This second blooming is much better than the previous one. Better color and definition and a nicer-shaped, larger flower.

It looks very similar to mine that was recently awarded. If you're not opposed to the judging system maybe you should take it in(?)

I'm not opposed to the concept, but the idiots who are at my local don't give me any hope of having anything worthy awarded. Elsewhere you can read my long, long litany of their malfeasance, misfeasance, and general incompetence.
BUT, if any of you have vini paphs, phals and catts from Lowe's, Kroger's or Home Depot, they will award ALL of them. Hurry!

;) Don't be bitter Tennis, just send it to the Cincinnati show if the flower is still open then. You will never get an award if you don't exhibit at all. Your complaints may have some merit, but you never know if you will get a judge from out of region on a judging team.

Hi Tennis,

What Leo said....plus I'll be judging and selling at the Cincinnati show in a few weeks and it would be great to see you again! I was impressed with the judging competence last year at this show, and would urge you to bring whatever you think might be competitive...

Thanks,
