Below is what I would consider a beauty, although somewhat small. This is a first bloom seedling with a 12 inch leaf span.It also has a very small start. Flower has a natural spread of 11 c.m and smells sweet. I couldn't be happier. This plant came from Peter at Big Leaf Orchids about a year and a half to two years ago.

Excellent blooming!! When did it initiate blooming?7 I have a pretty good size seedling, but it's not blooming

Troy, the bud on both emersonii and hangianum sit there for at least 6 months. Or at least they did for me. My other hangianum has a bud that is starting to open. My other emersonii has been siting down in the crown for months and months but looks like it might be starting to push it's way out.

Linus, the pollen doesn't have a home yet as I don't breed but in the past have shared pollen for some of the future seedlings. I just can't do flasks. It's just not for me.
