I normally don't buy paphs in bud but couldn't resist this one at the Asheville orchid show from the Ching Hua orchid vendor. I'm a happy camper :wink:

Very, very nice! What day were you at the Asheville show? I looked over Ching Hua's plants but didn't see anything I couldn't live without, so I blew through my budget at Andy's and Peruflora instead.

I was there Sunday...and I inquired for specific x's. He dug it out from behind the tables

It is a single growth with a leaf span of approx 18 in.

Given that sometimes such breeding takes many years to bloom or is downright reluctant to bloom, buying in spike is a great deal at a reasonable price.
