Paph jackii not so album

Bought as album but not the case. Also pretty tired my compared to my “normal” jackii, this one is 8.5 cm NS.

I like it. This seems to be a very common problem with the current crop of jackii v. album. I've seen these types of posts numerous times now on various sites.

Is this flower fragrant?

No scent yet, just opened perhaps it needs some time. I have bloomed almost 12 jackii and only one had a scent.

As for the market being flooded with these “albums” thats a good question for Popow.....

There were phals that were being called album but should have been called albescens. They were crossing faint albescens and calling the offspring album. They might be doing the same here
